SAP B1 Techno / Functional Consultant

JOB MISSION

We are seeking a skilled SAP B1 Techno / Functional Consultant with expertise in manufacturing and
finance domains. The ideal candidate will collaborate with clients, business analysts, and functional
consultants to gather requirements for custom add-ons and enhancements. This role involves
designing technical solutions, developing custom functionalities, and ensuring seamless integration of
third-party applications using APIs and SAP Business One Service Layer.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience:

• Minimum of 8 – 10 years of experience in SAP Business One add-on development or a
  similar role.
• Proficiency in SAP Business One SDK, including development of User Defined Objects
  (UDO), User Defined Fields (UDF), and User Defined Tables (UDT).
• Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, .NET, VB.NET, or similar.
• Experience with SAP Business One integration technologies (DI-API, B1WS, B1IF) is
  preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP Business One functional modules and business processes.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., DevOps) and agile development
  methodologies is a plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

DUTIES

• Collaboration: Collaborate with clients, business analysts, and functional consultants to gather requirements for custom add-ons and enhancements.
• Technical Design: Design technical solutions and create detailed technical specifications for SAP Business One add-ons.
• Integration: Integrate third-party applications using APIs and SAP Business One Service Layer.
• Development: Develop custom functionalities, reports, and extensions using SAP Business One SDK, SQL queries, and other relevant technologies.
• Testing: Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) for developed add-ons.
• Support:  Provide documentation, training, and support to end-users for newly developed add-ons, Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to custom add-ons and existing SAP Business One functionalities.
• Continuous Improvement: Keep up-to-date with the latest SAP Business One SDK features, patches, and updates, Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development processes and best practices.
• Project Management: Collaborate with project managers, functional consultants, and other developers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• SAP Business One certification in development is preferred.
